The roles of a Safety Officer
Facilitating OHS Act compliance, developing and implementing policies, conducting risk assessments and investigations, and ensuring comprehensive health and safety initiatives are enforced while collaborating with HR to conduct induction programs for new employees are key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer.

The Evacuation Procedures course covers the significance of efficient workplace evacuations during emergencies, addressing different emergency scenarios, OHS team roles, legal aspects, and planning requirements, ensuring officers are fully prepared.
