Load Haul Dumper (LHD) scoop training is an integral part of mining operations, combining theoretical classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training to ensure operators can proficiently handle this essential equipment for efficient ore and waste rock transportation within a mine.
Our training program maintains a balanced approach, combining 30% theory sessions with a substantial 70% of hands-on practical training and assessment, ensuring learners are thoroughly prepared to operate the LHD Scoop effectively and safely.
By offering a well-rounded LHD scoop training program, we equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate this specialized mining equipment safely and effectively, contributing to the productivity and safety of mining operations.

LHD Scoop Course Requirements
In adherence to stringent safety standards, the mandatory inclusion of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is enforced for all participants in our TLB training program. Learners are also expected to demonstrate competence in communication and mathematical literacy at NQF Level 1, and present their National ID/passport.
