Our drill rig operator course is a valuable resource for individuals seeking to embark on a career in the dynamic mining and minerals industry, as it equips them with the knowledge and skills to meet the requirements for drill rig training, demonstrating proficiency in drilling and blasting holes with a medium diameter.
Our training program maintains a balanced approach, combining 30% theory sessions with a substantial 70% of hands-on practical training and assessment, ensuring learners are thoroughly prepared to operate the Drill Rig effectively and safely.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will not only possess the fundamental expertise required for drill rig operation but also the competence to contribute to efficient and safe drilling processes in the mining and minerals sector.

Drill Rig Course Requirements
In adherence to stringent safety standards, the mandatory inclusion of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is enforced for all participants in our TLB training program. Learners are also expected to demonstrate competence in communication and mathematical literacy at NQF Level 1, and present their National ID/passport.
